To encourage the exchange and dissemination of technical information, and to promote understanding and cooperation between the members of the European Society for Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) and the IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC), these organizations have entered into an agreement signed September 21, 2011 in den Haag during EUCAS.11 conference.

ESAS Board Election Results

The following were (re-)elected to the ESAS board at the EUCAS 2011 conference in Den Haag: Marcel ter Brake (University of Twente), John Durrell (University of Cambridge), Fedor Gömöry (Institute of Electrical Engineering, Bratislava), Bernhard Holzapfel (IFW, Dresden), Xavier Obradors (ICMAB, Barcelona), Lucio Rossi (CERN), Paul Seidel (University of Jena), Pascal Tixador (INP/Institut Néel, Grenoble) and Philippe Vanderbemden (Institut Montefiore, Liège).
